The impression is sent to the laboratory to be crafted according to the chosen crown type. Once prepared in the shade selected by the patient at the beginning of the treatment, the crown is permanently cemented into place.

Proper follow-up care ensures that dental crowns can be used for many years without issue. Daily habits should include brushing twice a day, flossing, regular dental checkups, cautious consumption of hard and shelled foods, and using a night guard if recommended.
